  1. Call the Propane Gopher!What are your delivery hours?
    Propane Gopher delivers the entire day. We do not make delivery appointments so please have your tank(s) out early.

  2. Do you make weekend deliveries?
    No, not at this time. We enjoy cooking on the grill with family and friends on the weekend as much as you do. For this reason we do not deliver on the weekends.

  3. Do you offer Same Day or Next Day deliveries?
    We currently offer same day delivery on weekdays. However, that availability depends upon the time at which you place your order. Please note that between Oct 1 and Mar 31, we only deliver on Fridays.

    1. If you place your order TODAY BEFORE NOON Arizona time, you may choose a delivery day of today (weekdays only).

    2. If you place your order TODAY AFTER NOON Arizona time, you should choose a day other than today (weekdays only).

  4. How much propane do you put in a cylinder?
    Our cylinders are manufactured to hold 20 pounds of propane, however, the federally mandated Overfill Prevention Devices (OPD) sometimes prohibit filling to the full 20 pounds. Therefore, we fill our cylinders by weight to the lesser of 20 pounds or when the OPD shuts the valve. The popular cylinder exchange businesses only fill to 15 pounds – we give you up to 13% more propane!

  5. Do I need to be present for a delivery?
    No, just please leave your tank(s) where you indicated you would and we will leave a full, safety inspected tank(s) for you.

  6. What if I forget to leave my tank out?
    If we can’t pick up your tank, we can’t leave a tank. If you contact us soon enough, we may still be able to provide you delivery on your scheduled day with a Connect/Disconnect fee. We will not automatically disconnect your tank unless you tell us to. Otherwise, we’ll have to charge a small fee for our time.

  7. Will your professional hook-up the tank to my grill?
    Yes, we offer Disconnect/Reconnect service for a small fee.

  8. What is the difference between an EXCHANGE tank and a SPARE tank?
    An exchange tank is a full tank we give you in EXCHANGE for your empty one. A spare tank is a full tank we provide to you without taking an empty one in return. A spare tank costs more because we are basically selling you a new, full tank. Some customers like to have a spare tank on hand so they can completely run the gas out of one tank and have a spare to hook up while they’re awaiting their next delivery from the Propane Gopher.

  9. Do you fill my tank at my house?
    No, all tanks are taken to our plant where they are inspected and filled in a safe environment.

  10. Do you offer a tank disposal service?
    Yes, this most often happens when someone moves as nearly all moving companies do not allow transport of propane tanks. Proper disposal of propane tanks is very important for personal safety and our environment. Pick-up can be arranged on-line or by calling us.

  11. Can I place an order 24/7?
    Yes, you can place an order on-line 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. If you want to call in an order over the phone, it must be done during working hours, which are typically Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm. We do not answer the telephone or check phone messages over the weekend or on holidays.
